![]() ![]() One of the guns I purchased was a french MAB model d with serial number L9XX. Whats the value of a mab model d L serial number I just got back from the SAR show and bought a few guns. An interesting history this model MAB stands for Manufacture d'Armes de Bayonne and was made (in.32) from 1933 till 1963. This is an interesting French MAB Brevete Model D chambered in 7.65mm aka.32 acp. ![]() Sold one rifle and bought yet another smaller 'pocket' pistol. Several months ago my wife and I spent the weekend at a gun show in the small resort town of Houghton Lake, MI, north of Saginaw off I-75. My 1917 Enfield.303 British is another one that I'd dearly love to know the history that it was a part of.maybe someday I'll have the enlightenment of all and of everything. Oh, but if only those old war guns could speak. Relics of a time forgotten, and no doubt the ones who carried them on foreign continents are but memories in the sands of time. The Mab D does look cozy sitting there in his safe with the Mauser built P38 my grandfather brought back in 1945. Indeed, he's got more handguns alone than I have firearms altogether. Thanks Mike I doubt the old man will put very many rounds through it, he's currently enjoying my.40 PPS and knows any time he wants to borrow or use the.40 PPQ, he's welcome to it/them, so he's not needing to use a historical gun to plink with. ![]()
